雅思听说读写四项中写作一直是大家很难提分的项目。其实在具体写作中过程中大家的难点主要在以下两个问题，一是“写什么”，二是“怎么写”。

　　大作文具体提问方式千变万化，但其实万变不离其宗，整体是在我们常说的十大话题（社会、教育、媒体、环境、政府、科技、国际、文化、犯罪、抽象）之下的。

　　比如2018年10月13日的大作文考题In many countries women are allowed to take maternity leave from their jobs during the first month after the birth of their baby. Does advantage outweigh disadvantages? 就可以归入到我们的社会类话题当中的人的范畴，跟产假相关当然不仅仅是女性，自然还有她们的丈夫们。

　　那么，接下来就跟随南京环球教育裴文清老师一起来看看当雅思考试遇上“男人、女人”之后会擦出什么样的火花。

　　一、碗谁洗？地谁拖？

　　当男女不同性别和家庭练习在一起，自然最长讨论的问题就是家庭角色问题。也就是面包谁来挣，家务谁来做的问题。试看下面这个题目：

　　Today in many countries, both women and men work full-time. Logically, women and men should share household tasks equally. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

　　题干中交代了当下的时代背景下，大部分人，不分男女，都有全职工作。那么，依据这一现状，在家务活方面男女也应该平等分摊，是否合理。

　　这一话题立场无非两种：同意题干观点，家务活平等分担，论述为什么应该平等分担。或者，反对题干观点，家务活应该一方负责（传统上女性负责得较多）。那我们来想一下，分别可以如何论述呢？

　　认为家务活应该一方做的依据是什么？是传统意义上的家庭分工，即“男主外，女主内”。

　　Some people argue that a mother should not work. She should stay at home and bring up her children. The father should be the breadwinner of the family.

　　还有人会说男女性别特征决定了这一分工。

　　Females should assume more responsibilities in household task because they are more careful and patient than their husbands.

　　当然，很多小伙伴们会说“这都什么年代了，‘男主外，女主内’是什么魔鬼封建残余。”

　　那么，我们如何去有理有据的扳倒这一观点呢？首先，传统的家庭性别角色正在变化。

　　Traditional gender roles are gradually changing. Many fathers and mothers share their parenting and domestic responsibilities. They contribute equally to childcare, cooking and cleaning.

　　因为现在职场上也出现了很多精英女性。

　　Some women may have better career prospects than their husbands.

　　所以，我们并不一定要按照性别划分家庭角色，而是根据不同的家庭状况来决定。

　　Families can divide roles and responsibilities in the most convenient way.

　　二、“不好意思，本岗位只招男性”？

　　除了家庭角色之外，男性和女性在职场上往往也会遭遇区别对待，有些岗位在招聘时就会挂出“males only”或是“females only”的要求，那么这样的区分究竟是否合理呢？大家一起来看下面两个题目：

　　Nowadays, some workplaces tend to employ equal numbers of men and women workers. Do you think it is a positive or negative development?

　　Some people believe that women should play an equal role as men in a country's police force or military force, such as the army, while others think women are not suitable for these kinds of jobs. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

　　那么，男女员工要不要被区别对待呢？在过去，很多岗位是有一些性别限制的。

　　Traditionally, women have been restricted to certain roles. They were often employed as secretaries or receptionists. Nowadays, a range of occupations is available to both sexes.（关于性别和职业类型的分布我们小作文当中也考过哦）

　　但是，原则上老说，性别不能成为评判标准，能力和资质才是。

　　Men and women should have access to the same professional opportunities. They should be employed according to their abilities, qualifications and experience.
